Introduced by truform industries the vibration absorption material is a material for active and passive vibration absorption/isolation purposes. This synthetic rubber product is resistant to coolants, oils etc, can be used up to a temperature of 120°c. Resistant to ageing the material has the capability to retain the machine leveling while performing the vibration absorption/isolation function. The material is offered in suitable grades for active and passive vibration isolation. Two grades are offered for active isolation [protecting the surroundings from the vibrations generated from the equipment]. The first active isolation grade is for impact generating equipment such as injection moulding machines, presses etc. The second active isolation grade is for general applications such as metal cutting machines, grinding machines, cnc machines, assembly equipment, testing rigs, etc. For precision equipment such as measuring equipment, etc, which needs to be isolated from external vibrations [passive isolation], a special soft grade is offered. The vibration absorption material is offered in the form of rounds [70 and 100 mm dia] or in custom rectangular/square forms [up to 525 mm x 525 mm]. Standard round forms [100 mm dia] can take loads up to 800 kg per support point. The vibration absorption/isolation material can be also procured fitted to the truform levelling assemblies or levelling jacks.
